Weekly walks in the landscape with a camera is a practice from my childhood in Southeastern Pennsylvania that I have carried with me into adulthood in coastal Massachussets. A mirrorless camera marries image quality with unobtrusive portability. The resulting images are not studies for artworks. Rather, the value of this parallel practice is in the way it forms me and so informs my studio work.
